It was fabulous to see Winford Church overflowing with flowers as we held our first flower festival for many years. Our talented flower arrangers and friends used their creativity and love of flowers to create arrangements reflecting God's Garden, sponsored by many local businesses and individuals. At the same time, the community fun day took place on the hottest day of the year so far, and it was a delight to welcome people and their brave teddies who took part in the teddy zip wire, bounced on the bouncy castle and had their faces painted. The BBQ, cakes and drinks went down well too! Sadly we had to cancel the dog show owing to the weather, but we hope this will be back next year.
