St Bartholomew's Crewkerne

I am so delighted you have found your way here! There has been a church here for a thousand years or more and while the town has changed with the passing centuries the message of God’s love in Jesus Christ remains as real and relevant as ever. All around us there is so much anxiety and uncertainty, from economic pressures, loneliness and isolation, and events such as the war in Ukraine.

Jesus told his first disciples in John’s Gospel “Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give you.” It is the unchanging peace of God in a fast and ever-changing world for which St Bartholomew’s stands. The building itself reminds us that God is bigger than the things that are bigger than us!

We would love to see you on Sundays, we meet at 11am and there is always a warm welcome.

The clergy are available if we can be of help. We hope to see you soon. God bless you with his peace.

CJ Davis, Rector
