St Mary's, Whitelackington

A warm welcome awaits at St Mary's, Whitelackington, a small village church with a big heart.  Just 1.5 miles outside of Ilminster, our beautiful church offers visitors a quiet sanctuary.  We have regular Sunday services and are also a popular wedding venue for local couples and those with qualifying connections.

An overview of our services can be found in the Services and Events section, or downloaded as a poster under News and notices

As one of two churches within the Benefice of Ilminster and Whitelackington, our shared Mission is to be Beacons of Christ’s light – sharing our love for God and our neighbours.

Safeguarding

The parish of Whitelackington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
