Our Benefice service for Palm Sunday starts with a procession to The Minster. We meet from 10am at Wharf Lane car park, next to the entrance to Muchelney House, with the procession itself starting at 10.15am. If you’re not able to join the procession, the service will start at the usual time of 10.30am in the church and refreshments will be served afterwards in the Minster Rooms.

St Mary's, Whitelackington

A warm welcome awaits at St Mary's, Whitelackington, a small village church with a big heart.  Just 1.5 miles outside of Ilminster, our beautiful church offers visitors a quiet sanctuary.  We have regular Sunday services and are also a popular wedding venue for local couples and those with qualifying connections.

As one of two churches within the Benefice of Ilminster and Whitelackington, our shared Mission is to be Beacons of Christ’s light – sharing our love for God and our neighbours.

The parish of Whitelackington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
