You may know all about our Porlock InSpired Project already, or may never have heard of it. 

However,  if you are planning to visit our churchyard to look at headstones, or for any other reason, please note that we expect that scaffolding for the project will start in the next few weeks. This will surround the church and tower, the paths through the churchyard will need to be closed, and most of the churchyard will not be accessible for safety reasons.

The perimeter of the scaffold has to be fully boarded for security to meet the requirements of our insurers and most areas of the churchyard will not be accessible by the public.

We plan to put a further update here when we know the date scaffolding work will begin.

The church will remain open for most of the time, although public access to the church might be limited during the scaffold construction period.

Regular Church Sunday services will continue.
