A warm and welcoming prayer group meets at St Michael's to share in healing prayers for both our local community and the world at large. Everyone is invited, and you don't have to be a regular churchgoer or even a Christian to join in.

Every fourth Sunday of the month we join with the Methodist Church and share in our worship together. There are lots of hymns to join in with and refreshments afterwards.
All are welcome to attend at the Methodist Church.

Meet new people and explore the Christian faith together, over good (free) food, Alpha is for anyone who's curious.
No judgement, no pressure.
Each session unpacks a big question of life, faith and purpose, and is designed to spark conversation.
These sessions will be running for 9 weeks at two different venues and times, the session content will be the same at both venues so pop along to whichever suits you best.

Open to all, early morning service, traditional service using the 1662 book of common prayer with communion.
Everyone welcome to attend,
Takes place on the first Sunday of the month before the all age service, refreshments between the two services.

Open to all, more relaxed service, children and families very welcome, there is a play area for young children, arrive at 9:30 for a hot drink and a pastry.
There is no communion at this service.
All are welcome to attend.

Open to all, Lay Led service of the word with hymns, (not led by clergy)
There is no communion at this service.
All are welcome to attend, and stay for refreshments after the service

The prayer course runs for 8 weeks, using the Lords Prayer as a starting point it goes deeper into why prayer is so important and teaches us how to pray. The group will meet each week at the Methodist Chapel.
All are welcome and don't worry if you cannot make every session, its a warm and friendly group.
