Over the past few days, St Paul's Church has been a hive of activity, as floral decorations have been made ready for our celebration of the Saviour's birth this Christmas.  All the final touches, and the hanging of the decorations will be done on Christmas Eve morning, ready for our first service of the Christmas season at 3.30 pm.

Bookings have come in quickly, particularly for the two Crib Services, which were booked up very soon after they went live.  Fr David asked worshippers not to turn up to these two services without a ticket, as we will sadly have to turn them away.  There are still a number of places left for both the 7.30 pm Vigil Mass and Christingle, and for the 11.30 pm Midnight Mass.  Christmas Day services are usually attended by relatively small numbers, and thus we have not felt the need to ticket them, so please feel free to join us at either 8.00 am or 10.30 am.

On Christmas Eve, as we are in Tier 3 of the National Covid regulations, please do not mingle with anyone outside of your own household; on Christmas Day, please do not mingle with anyone outside of your Christmas Day Bubble.

We look forward to sharing the joy of the Christ-child; though our celebrations may be different this year, the key message of peace and goodwill remains the same, and we hope and pray that better times might be around the corner.

Please see the attached file for Fr David's Christmas Greeting.
