Thomas's annual fundraising quiz night will take place in the church club on Saturday 27 April. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. £5 entry pay on the door. The usual mixture of general knowledge, pictures and music. There will be a raffle (offers of prizes will be gratefully accepted) and supper will be available. To help our caterers with regard to numbers if you intend coming will you please ring 01257 482471 or speak to Thomas personally no later than Sunday 21 April. Proceeds will go towards the forthcoming overhaul of the church lighting system. It is also hoped that the delayed quiz sheet will go on sale at the same time.

Join us for a Sung Mass as we mark Jesus' Ascension to be reunited with the Father in heaven on the 40th day of Easter

Join us for a Sung Mass as we mark Corpus Christi, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. In this service we celebrate the fact that even though Jesus is no longer bodily present in the world, he is always with us through the Eucharist.

Father Jean will be ordained priest by Bishop Philip at Blackburn Cathedral. If you would like to attend, please contact either Fr Jean or Fr Graeme, who will put your name down for a ticket. Transport can also be arranged.

The following day at 7.30pm will be Fr Jean's first Mass.
