Members of Brindle Mother's Union mark the 150th anniversary of the worldwide organisation on Saturday, August 8th from 10am in Blackburn Cathedral.An exhibition showcases their work in Lancashire, nationally and worldwide, including donations of the toiletry bags for Chorley Hospital lovingly created by members. There are lots of activities for children (accompanied by an adult) taking place in the cathedral crypt. The day ends with a service from 2 pm until 3 pm led by Bishop Philip North and also being attended by The Lord Lieutenant, along with the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen and the York Provincial MU President.
