Prayer Vigil Tuesday 19th January 2021 7pm - 8pm

From_the_Vicar

On Tuesday 19th January from 7pm to 8pm, as a group of Christians, we will pray for these intentions:

All who are diagnosed with Covid.
Patients and Staff in ICU.
Those responsible for the vaccine.
Medical and Scientific Advisors.
Our Government and Prime Minister.
Key workers.
All those living in Fear.
All those who mourn the loss of a loved one.
That we be confident in the hope that Jesus is with us.
And to look for his actions in our community and throughout the world.

Prayers are just as effective from wherever you may be during the hour. Silent or otherwise God will hear!

During this hour, David invites you to pray for these intentions with him, for a period of time that you feel able. Due to restrictions we cannot gather in church. This won’t be on zoom nor will it be live streamed, this is just simply a group of praying Christians promising to pray for the same intentions on the same day at the same time, remotely from the safety of our own homes.

Pray however you feel comfortable, in silence, with words, using art, lighting a candle. There is no right or wrong.

As well as these intentions, I am inviting the parish family to send me names of people they would like me to pray for.

Thank you for joining me in this prayer vigil.

David
