On the first and third Sundays of each month (during term time) children are welcome to meet at the Brindle Community Hall. To help make sure that Sunday School runs smoothly could we kindly ask that all pre-school children be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session. Parents and carers of older children join the 10.30am service. The children will walk to church with their leaders towards the end of the service.

Occasionally (when there is a special event in church or there are insufficient Sunday School leader volunteers) the Sunday School meet in the Cavendish Chapel at the far side of church. So, if the Brindle Community Hall door is locked, please bring your children to church by 10.30am.

The Sunday school is well attended. The older children expand topics to suit their more capable abilities and deeper understanding of the Christian faith. A number of our older Sunday school children have been confirmed and it is a pleasure to watch them take communion as part of their Sunday worship.

Roving Nativity. Meet at Brindle St. James' CE primary school and journey together to the heart of the nativity story. Sit down option available. Wet weather plan - meet at church.

Midnight Communion on Christmas Eve starts at 11.15pm

Christmas day, join in celebration communion worship. Bring along your favourite present!

Festive fun at the Community Hall. Bring a seasonal picnic, your own drinks and a tin for the food bank if you are able.

Brindle Mother's Union welcomes all - you don't have to be a mother!
The Mothers’ Union Christmas Party 2025 is on Wednesday 17th December at 6.30pm in Brindle Community Hall.
This will be a festive buffet @ £12 per person. If you are a member and have not yet told Rana you wish to attend, or if you would like to bring a guest, please let her know by Sunday 14th December. Non members can also attend. Please also let Rana know by Sunday 14th December, so she can confirm numbers for the buffet. You can pay on the night.
