In a beautiful setting, high on the hill above Parbold village, Christ Church is well worth a visit. It is a warm, friendly, welcoming church with services and activities for all age groups. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, there is a place for you here. Whether you’re visiting or coming for the first time, you’re very welcome - just make yourself at home. You might want to check out the short ‘look around’ video on the website. We’re a very relaxed and friendly church and we really hope you enjoy coming. Sometimes coming through the door can be a bit daunting, so if you’d like someone to walk in and sit with, then please just contact us thought the website contact section and we’ll gladly arrange that.​ Practical things are that we have ramp access into church suitable for wheelchairs, a loop system which operates in the central pews of church and the song words are projected on screens, so you don’t need to juggle books.​ There’s a toilet in church with baby changing facilities plus a lovely children’s corner with toys and colouring materials at the back of church (near the toilets), parents sometimes like to plonk themselves in that area and enjoy the space.​ Our Junior Church runs on 2 Sundays a month @10.30am. We have Muddy Church at 9.30am on the 3rd Sunday of each month and other services are generally All Age. There’s also a children’s resource table as you enter church, just let the children help themselves and relax and we’ve recently added a children’s Lending Library. There are refreshments at the end of our 10.30am services, so do please stay around to chat if you can, but we do quite understand if you need to get off. Most of all relax, be yourself and enjoy God’s presence.
