Unfortunately this service is suspended at the present time due to Coronavirus. When it is available this service is divided into sections. The first half hour is spent preparing crafts for use in the service. The children select their own hymns, accompanied by musicians. Refreshments are served and games played. Then at 6.30p.m. there is a short sevice.
Our service of Eucharist recommenced from 14 March, Mothering Sunday. We will continue to record and stream the service on line. The link is given below. We are still observing the distancing regulations therefore, places will be restricted. If you wish to attend please contact Fr Shaun on 01772335310 on Monday mornings. You will be required to wear mask, sanitize your hands upon arrival and departure. Your name will be kept for track and trace purposes. You will be shown to a seat and given an order of service. A member of the sides team will be there to tell you when to go for Communion in order to maintain a safe distance. There will be no soft furnishings so you may want to bring a cushion, the toilet facilities are open but there will be no refreshments after the service.
Our weekly service of Holy Eucharist will be held again from 14 March, Mothering Sunday. We will continue to record our Sunday services and the link will be posted below or you can view it on our You Tube channel StAidanStLeonard. The Eucharistic service takes the form of a said liturgy, with readings and a sermon. We have a family area for those with young children enabling them all to join in and be part of the service. We have measures in place to ensure everyone is kept as safe as possible. You will need to contact Fr Shaun to book a seat [email protected] We ask everyone to wear a mask, to use an automated hand santiser as they enter church, a member of the sides team will enter their name and contact details for track and trace purposes, another member of the sides team will show you to a seat, you will also be directed when to receive Communion and when the service has ended a member of the sides team will be there to tell you when to leave by the North exit door and to use the hand santiser as you leave.
Our service recommenced with effect from Wednesday, 17 March. There are measures in place to ensure we all feel safe. For example you will be asked to wear a mask, use the hand sanitiser in the porch and sign in for track and trace purposes as you enter church by the main entrance at the west side of church, a member of the sides team will show you to a seat, a member of the sides team will indicate when you should go to receive Communion, at the end of the service a member of the sides team will inform you when to exit and you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser again as you leave by the North exit door. There will be no soft furnishings so you may wish to bring a cushion and the toilet facilities will be open.
A discussion group on Monday evenings 7-8p.m. or Friday mornings 10-11a.m. Reading passages from the Bible then through a series of questions, discussing the meaning in a safe, friendly environment via zoom.
