We welcomed Poppy Beth Alana into God’s family last Sunday. Please hold her and her family in your prayers.
The day started at St John’s school Higham and this was followed by a Deanery Eucharist at St Bartholmew’s, Colne. A visit to the new Market Hall followed, before Bishop Philip met up with clergy for a lunch stop. In the afternoon Bishop Philip visited St Thomas’ school and then St Thomas’ church to join in with ‘Epic Wednesday’ a new ‘after school’ ministry. The day concluded at North Valley Community Centre, where the new church plant celebrated its first birthday. A cheese and potato pie supper was provided, and a choc/mint Birthday cake. It was a joy to meet and answer questions from people searching for Jesus and coming to faith. Here is a small selection of photos.
