Our weekly service normally takes the form of Holy Communion and sometimes uses Common Worship and sometimes the Book of Common Prayer: there is Morning Prayer about once a month. Saturday, July 12th at Newchurch-in-Pendle: * Gather at St Mary’s School from 2.00pm
* Procession through the village from 2.30pm
* Crowning of the Rushbearing King and Queen and Blessing of Rushes
* Procession and Bearing of Rushes to St Mary’s Church
Festival Service and Scattering of Rushes,
* Food, live music and dancing
