The Tower of St Michael's has been in need of attention for several years, now we're getting on with it at last! Over the next couple of months:- One of the buttresses is being replaced.- The whole Tower is being re-pointed.- A completely new drain pipe is being installed.- The internal ladders are being replaced. - A new roof hatch is being installed.- The frame on which the bells hang is being refurbished. All this does, of course, cost money: a lot of money - around £60,000. So please, please carefully think and pray about how much you can give.
