About Us

Welcome to St Paul’s, Clitheroe

Nestled on the outskirts of the charming market town of Clitheroe, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, St Paul’s is more than just a church – it’s a community. We are blessed with a truly majestic building that we fondly call Our St Paul’s, and within its walls, a vibrant and welcoming congregation of around 50 people gathers for each service.

Our life together is supported by a forward-thinking PCC, a dedicated team behind the scenes, and a wonderful vicar, Catherine, whose vision has transformed the culture of our church. Through modern services, inclusive activities, and lively fundraising events, she – together with all the “cogs” that keep St Paul’s moving – has helped us grow into a church that lives out true Christian values in action.

From a bustling Friday soup lunch serving over 150 people, to Messy Church welcoming children and families, to the uplifting sounds of our weekly choir practice, St Paul’s is alive with activity and heart. Every event, every gathering, and every act of service reflects our shared belief: that by working together, we can strengthen our future and continue to grow as a place of faith, warmth, and welcome.

We would love for you to visit – whether you are new to the area, returning, or simply curious. Explore our website for details of upcoming events and activities, or reach out via our contact page and one of our friendly team will be in touch.

Thank you for taking the time to discover Our St Paul’s – we can’t wait to welcome you.
