Maundy Thursday

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Anne's Church Woodplumpton
Address
Woodplumpton Road Woodplumpton Preston, PR4 0NE, United Kingdom

We invite you to join us for a solemn and moving Maundy Thursday service as we enter the heart of Holy Week.

On this night, we remember the "New Commandment" that Jesus gave his disciples: to love one another as he has loved us. We gather to commemorate the Last Supper, reflecting on the themes of humility, community, and the sacrifice that began in the Upper Room. In remembrance of Jesus washing the feet of his disciples, there will be an opportunity during the service for the washing of feet or hands.

This is a powerful, symbolic act of service and grace. Whether you choose to participate by having your feet or hands washed, or simply prefer to observe and reflect from your seat, all are welcome in this moment of shared humility.
