St Lawrence

Here at St Lawrence with St Paul our vision is Following Jesus in Loving Community. This means we’re trying our best to love God and love our neighbour in the joys and challenges of everyday life. We’re an active church, seeking to grow in our discipleship and outreach and would love you to join us in this journey, either in person or online.

Every week we hold a range of services and groups as we seek to cater for a wide range of ages, worship styles and preferences and we want to especially welcome those who are new to exploring the Christian faith. To find out more about our church you can visit our website below and if you’d like to speak to our vicar Revd. Mike Barton then please email: [email protected] , our curate Revd. Jesse Adesina: r[email protected] , or our Children and Youth Leader Becky Filder: [email protected]

Safeguarding

Our parish of Longridge: St Lawrence with St Paul is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO: [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Catherine Smith: [email protected] . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
