About Us

We seek to be a church that lives by faith, is known by love and is a voice of hope to the community we serve.

Our Church building was built in 1962 so it's quite modern and sits in a very prominent position, near Aldi in Fleetwood.

Up until recently we have followed an Anglo Catholic style of worship but since our recently appointed new vicar Rev'd Carolyn Leitch, we have followed a more liberal style of worship.  We have a friendly team ready to welcome anyone who wants to join us, for worship or just for a  coffee and a chat.

At the moment we have four services each Sunday, Holy Communion Order Two at 8.30 am.  A service of the Word, including hymns, homily and prayers at 9.30 am via Zoom,  Holy Communion Order One,  at 10.45 am and a Family Service at 4.00 pm in the Church Hall.   We also have a quiet weekday service on Tuesday's at 2.00 pm.

The Church is open every week day morning from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm and you are welcome to come and sit in the quietness, light a candle and make your prayers.  Most people say it brings them such peace in the busyness of life.

There are various activities in our Church hall, some Church activities and some community activities. For more information check out the notice board, Facebook St Nicholas Church Fleetwood or ring the Vicar 01253 874402
