Saturday 16th May: Blackburn Diocese is marking 100 years with a Big Day Out in Blackpool — a full, joy-filled celebration for every age. With dedicated zones for families and young people, plus live music, comedy, a free hog roast lunch and a huge open-air worship gathering in St John’s Square, it’s set to be a fantastic day for our whole Diocese.

The main event for adults starts with a Hog Roast lunch (with a vegetarian alternative) from 1pm – 2 pm followed by a giant open air worship celebration in St John's Square, Church Street, Blackpool FY1 1BP, with music from the Salvation Army Band and Blackpool Church worship team, a message from Bishop Philip, stories of faith from across Lancashire, and much more.

We’re going. Are you coming? Please sign up at the back of Church as soon as possible indicating if you will be having lunch. We will travel together by tram from the park-and-ride at Broadwater, although you are free to make your own way there if that is easier for you.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM): The APCM will take place in Church on Wednesday 20th May at 7 pm. Please save the date. Application forms for Churchwardens, PCC membership, Deanery Synod (PCC members only), and Electoral Roll are now available at the back of church. Completed forms should be handed in a sealed envelope to the Vicar of Christine McLellan the PCC Secretary no later than Sunday 10th May.
