Diocesan Call to Pray and Give

We are sincerely grateful for your individual responses to this special one-off gift to help us at St Nicholas meet our ever rising annual commitments. We were facing a deficit of £6433.

As this news sheet goes to print, the total gifts received amount to £4460. That together with the sale so far of our annual draw tickets of £1100 makes a grand total of £5560. Despite the challenges we have all faced this year, we are truly beginning to see the green shoots of new life, so let us rejoice and be glad, giving thanks to God for the abundance of his blessings.

100 Club

This week’s winners are Elizabeth Leeson, Christine McLellan and Joan Cato. The large Christmas draw will be made next Sunday in the hall alongside the Christmas envelope draw at 1.30 pm. As we begin 2021 we have 84 subscribers. Please see Ruth if you would like a number (£1 per week, payable weekly. monthly or annually either in cash or directly to the bank). This year the 100 Club has raised £2106 for the church and £2106 paid out in prizes.

Envelope draw

Sincere thanks to all who have supported this Christmas initiative and to those who have provided prizes. This will be drawn in the hall next Sunday at 1.30 pm. Come along and see if you have won!

Please continue to pray

…… for Alan Mather and Mervyn Taylor and the family of Peter Edwards to be laid to rest this coming week.
