Living in Love and Faith (LLF)

How do questions about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage fit within the bigger picture of the good news of Jesus Christ? What does it mean to live in love and faith together as a Church?

The national church has been exploring these questions in depth for some time and the discussion is now being opened up at Diocesan level. March 20th will include an overview of LLF; a conversation between two members of the national LLF team representing diverse viewpoints; a sample selected from the LLF course to experience together; the opportunity to begin thinking about how to engage with LLF in the local context and Q&A. If you would like to attend the taster session please contact the Vicarage this week.

Holy Week and Easter

Last year our church building was physically closed as we celebrated these most holy days alone at home. This year we rejoice that the church will be open, though we are still restricted in our acts of worship under the current coronavirus guidance. Service dates and times will be made available next week.

100 Club Winners this week are:

1. Ruth Aspinall (No 29 - £15), 2. Maureen Siddall (No 72 - £10). 3. Daniel Ashworth (No 1 - £5)

Please continue to pray

…… for Alan Mather, Hilary, Nigel, and Kenneth Binks. And for the family of Lesley Scott whose funeral is this coming week.

Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your disciples, ‘I am with you always’. Be with me today, as I offer myself to you. Hear my prayers for others and for myself, and keep me in your care.
