Harvest Festival: Next Sunday we will be celebrating Harvest in church. If you are able to donate any dried foods, tins, and toiletries, these will be collected during the service and later distributed to local agencies. Bishop Julian has asked us all to consider making a financial donation to support the work of the Mosamaria Trust which is a charity working with those in most need, in our link diocese of The Free State. There are still some envelopes available which, if you choose to donate, can be placed in the collection plate at the back of church.

Father, as we celebrate this season of Harvest, we give thanks for the blessings of food, provision, and nourishment.

Please grow in us a harvest for the world. Come sow a seed of hope within our souls Lord, that we might yield goodness, patience and kindness in abundance.

Sow a seed of peace in our lives Lord, that we might bear the fruits of forgiveness, compassion, and righteousness.

Come sow a seed of love in our hearts Lord, that others would reap the blessings of family, friendship, and community.

May each seed of hope, peace and love grow within us into a harvest that can be feasted on by all. Amen.

Just a reminder: A weekly coffee morning is starting on Thursday the 14th October at 10.00 am in the Jubilee Room. Please do come along for a brew, a chat, and some company. Invite your neighbours too.

Also, looking ahead to the new year, starting on 15th January 2022, St Nicholas will be hosting a breakfast Alpha in the Broadway Rooms. Please start prayerfully considering who you could invite and might you be willing to be a host or a helper?
