Messy Family Harvest: This is a morning of crafts, puppets, bible stories and singing, ending with a light lunch which we are providing. Everyone is welcome to join us and our Little Gang families and uniformed organisations. We will need help on the craft tables, serving lunch and washing up etc. Just come! We’ll find you a job. This is a great opportunity though to bring grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and neighbours. We still need magazines with pictures of food/produce in. Please leave them at the back of Church.

The Dream Team Singers in aid of our Roof Fund: Tickets are £5 each and are available from any member of the PCC. This is an event to which you can invite friends, neighbours, and family. Prayerfully consider who you might bring! To make the most of the evening we need some great raffle prizes and bottles of wine, which we will serve during the interval. The more that’s donated, the less we’ll have to buy and so more will go into the fund. Donate only if you’re able.

Harvest Sunday 9th October: Back by popular demand. After our Harvest worship together, we will be serving a Roast Pork Dinner in the Broadway Rooms, followed by our famous Harvest Auction! We are charging £8 for lunch (£5 for children) and the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal, details to follow. Why not buy someone a ticket and bring them with you? All Harvest gifts will be made up into hampers and auctioned on the day. Items not included in the auction will go to the foodbank. So, roll up, roll up…. ingredients for a corned beef hash, tins, bottles, chocolates, dog treats, you name it we’ll auction it. Please sign up at the back of church for the lunch.

Loving Creator God. The whole earth proclaims your glory. Everywhere we look we see your

handiwork. Help us to enjoy the earth gently and to work so that all may be fed. We pray for

those who work the land both nearby and in different countries May they receive a just

reward for their labour and may their work both as food producers and stewards

of the land be honoured. In Jesus’ name. Amen

100 Club – Winners last week were David Meekins, Shirley Kershaw, and Muriel Freestone

Please remember in your prayers – Rev Jane Everitt, Tony and Maureen Hardman, Rev Martin Keighley, Gillian & Elizabeth and Cath. Also, the family of Michael Roskell, whose funeral is due to take place.
