St Peter's, Henleaze

St Peter's is a vibrant church with attenders and participants of all ages - ranging from new-born to 103! We look forward to welcoming you to services in church on Sundays at 8am (Communion), 10am (Communion with hymns and children's activities) and 7.30pm (a range of Contemplative Services on Zoom). We also hold Communion services on Thursdays at 10.30am. All our services are followed by the opportunity to have refreshments afterwards (except the 8am on Sundays when attenders make their way home for breakfast!). The church is open from around 9am to dusk for reflection and prayer more or less every day of the year. Children's, youth, fellowship and many other groups meet throughout the week. Please see our website for details.

St Peter's has registered as an Eco-Church and gained its Gold Award. It has also gained the Diocese of Bristol's 'Safe and Welcome' Silver Award in relation to Safeguarding and Accessibility. We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults and follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer.

Our 8.00am Communion is a simple, said service. Its liturgy is the Church of England's Common Worship Order 1 - using contemporary language. It includes a sermon and is occasionally followed by a breakfast of coffee and croissants, enabling attenders to chat and get to know each other better.
