Reflections for the Advent season based on the book Listening to the Music of the Soul by Guli Francis-Dehqani.We will be using pieces of music of various styles to explore the Advent themes of The Magnificat, Flight, Violence, Fear and Hope, Reconciliation, Silence and darkness and Light and space.

St Mary's Fishponds

St Mary’s church is situated in the north-east of Bristol at the upper end of Fishponds. St Mary’s church is nestled within its own pretty churchyard and is adjacent to a small recreation area. St Mary’s was completed in its present form by the end of 1869 and is still serving its community nearly 150 years later.
