St Michael and All Angels

A warm welcome to Saint Michael & All Angels, our historic church in the village of Kington St Michael. The church and churchyard are open every day for visitors. There is information on upcoming services, local events and the history of the church on display. If you are visiting to research local or family history or have any questions about the church & our services or would like to get involved in any way the churchwardens are happy to help, (contact Alison on 07748759661).

Everyone is very welcome at our services, we have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities, a children's corner with toys and books, a loop system for hearing aid users and if the walk up the path is tricky we have a wheelchair and ramps to help. If you are planning a visit and have any additional needs , please let us know and we will do all we can to help.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Kington St Michael is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Alison Greenhalgh tel.07748759661] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Adam Bond, 07458073272, [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
