Following the Christingle service we will be kicking off a week long festival in the church. Lots of people are donating Christmas Trees which will be placed in the church for you to come and see between 11am and 6pm every day. You can get a prayer bauble to hang on the big tree in church, if there is someone special you would like us to pray for over the Advent period. There will be carol singing and hot chocolate from 5pm each day. On Friday evening we will close the festival with a concert and late opening until 8pm.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Filton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
