Each of us as human beings fall short through sin. In the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) Christ gives to his Church the opportunity for us to have our sins absolved and forgiven. If you wish to arrange an appointment to make your confession, or would simply like to know more about this sacrament, please speak to a priest. Anything you say will always be in the strictest confidence.
The Church teaches that the Eucharist is the "summit and source" of our ecclesial life. It is for this reason that the focal point for the people and community of St. Martin's is the celebration of the Parish Eucharist. Gathered together around the altar on the Lord's day we come into an encounter with living Lord, through each other, through the proclamation of the Word of God and in a unique way, in his real and abiding Eucharistic presence. By sharing together in Holy Communion we receive Christ into our hearts and into our lives and we receive the gift of his grace to strengthen us for his service.
