Candles for Remembrance - Sunday 30th November at 4pm
In the wonderful exciting busy period that is coming up do you need time to pause and reflect and remember a dear loved one that is no longer with us and is missed greatly? You are not alone in this and we’d like to offer an opportunity for you can come together with others for a moment of peace. It is open to all. The collection will go to Swindon’s Prospect Hospice. (Note - there is no morning service on the 30th).
The Prospect Hospice Light up a Life service itself will be held on Sunday 7th December. Doors open from 3:30pm with the service starting at 4:45pm. This service will take place at Prospect Hospice in Wroughton.
Christmas Choir
We are aiming to bring together a festival choir to sing at the Carol Service on Sunday 21st December. All budding singers who would like to take part are welcome. If you are interested, please let Amanda know (on behalf of Hilary). Sheet music and YouTube videos will be shared to help practice. Rehearsals are to be scheduled post 12th December.
Christmas Craft Fair & Book Sale - Saturday 15th November
We need prize donations please for the tombola at the Christmas Craft Fair - please bring prize donations into church or speak with Barbara or Jane Ockwell.
Jean Emerson Update
Jean hopefully came out of hospital on Friday, but is still mostly bed bound. Carers have been organised. Karen can update when possible.
