Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)The APCM for our church year of 2024 is being held after Breakfast Church on Sunday 25th May and will start at 10.30am. BaptismEvelyn Rose Watson will be baptised this Sunday at 12:30pm. We welcome Evelyn Rose into our church family, please include Evelyn, her parents, Godparents and family and friends in your prayers this week.Baptismal RollThe updated Baptismal Roll will be re-dedicated this Sunday following its update by Carole Bury building on the fabulous original work by Clive Moore. Thank you to both Clive and Carole for this wonderful aspect of St Leonard’s Church.Monday PrayersThere will be no Monday Prayers on 26th May as it is the Spring Bank Holiday. The next Monday Prayer meeting will be on Monday 9th June at 10am in church.Fundraising Concert - Razzle Prizes please!Our fundraising concert will be on Saturday 5th July at 7.30pm in church. VE Day RingingThank you to the bell ringers who rang as part of the national VE Day celebrations on Thursday 8th May.Monday Prayers.We will be meeting in church on Monday at 10am for half an hour to pray for the world, the church, the community and for ourselves. This is open to all who wish to join us. If you have something or someone on your mind that you would like the prayer group to include please let Paul Morris know (phone or email, details on this sheet), the prayers are in confidence, but please be as discreet as you need to be, God will know what is on your heart and mind as we pray for his help through our Lord Jesus. Breakfast Church.We hope you enjoyed the new style of Breakfast Church last week, where we tried a less formal café style with discussions rather than preaching. Our aim is to open up the service to new worshippers who may find the regular service style a little daunting, but of course we need to balance that with serving our resident congregation. Feedback was generally positive with requests for a little longer for the discussions and a little more lead in to worship.
