10am Wednesday Morning Service

Occurring
Every Wednesday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Augustine of Canterbury, Even Swindon
Address
Summers Street, Rodbourne Swindon, SN2 2HA, United Kingdom

We have a service every Wednesday morning at 10:00am (with the exception of the week after Easter and Christmas). The service alternates between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer.

This service is open to all, and often includes a short sermon or discussion about the bible readings used that day. All are welcome to attend. The service is also a social time, where the congregation join together for coffee afterwards.

Holy Communion

Said Holy Communion usually takes place on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (unless there is a special day such as Ash Wednesday on the second or fourth Wednesday). On the first Wednesday of the month the service also includes the laying on of hands and healing.

Morning Prayer

This is usually held on the second, fourth and fifth Wednesdays. This is a simple service of the Word with bible readings. We use different forms of Morning Prayer including from Common Worship as well as from the Celtic traditions. It is often led by members of the congregation.
