Accessibility
There is a small ramp over the lip of the doorway into the church hall. Once inside, there is a gentle slope into the church itself.
We have large print service sheets and hymn books availablefor use during worship. Please ask when you arrive.
There is a small step at the lychgate and two steps inside the main entrance. Step-free access is via the church hall, which is attached to the rear of the church. There is a small ramp over the lip of the door. Once inside, there is a gentle slope into the church itself. Please be aware that there is a single step at the doorway into the toilet.
On street parking is available on the A28 Thanington Road ajacent to the churchyard. Also on surrounding residential streets, such as Grays Way. Please park responsibly.

Our Building
St Nicholas Church is a grade II* listed building.
There are a number of 19th and 20th cenury stained glass windows in the nave, the chancel and the side chapel. The newest is a beautiful window in the side chapel depicting the Good Shepherd, made and installed in 1970.
There is a toilet in the church hall.
Music and Worship
The church has a bell-tower and bells. Bell-ringing does not currently take place as there are not enough ringers.
Groups, Courses and Activities
We run an Alpha course each year.
Thanington Messy Church takes place in the church on the third Sunday of the month 4 - 5:30pm, finishing with food.
CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) lunch club takes place on the third Thursday of each month at 12:30pm.
