A service of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of Advent. You can expect a warm welcome, lighting the first candle on the Advent wreath, hymns and worship songs, Bible reading and sermon, prayers and sharing bread and wine in communion. Refreshments are served in the hall straight after the service. We don't have a separate children's group but we do provide toys or activity sheets for children to use while they are with you during the service.

A friendly and growing congregation offer a warm welcome to all who would like to worship together on Sundays at 10am - whether you have lived in Thanington for years or have only just arrived. 

This historic church building has been reordered inside to make it a more welcoming and flexible space for Sunday worship; for baptisms, weddings and funerals; and for other activities.
