A Message from the vicar

<strong>Letter from</strong>

<strong>Rev Sue Martin - January 2021</strong>

Well Christmas has been and gone and we still find ourselves in a Lockdown with hope on the horizon of COVID Injections. Please do get the injections, it will give you more health security. If people need lifts to doctors for these let me know we can sort that out. The clergy team I am looking at having tests done twice a month just to make sure we are clear and not carrying it around unsuspectingly.

Services have returned to being every Sunday at 10am on Rev Sue’s Facebook page and then put on the Facebook pages of all the three churches. We are hoping at some point to put in place Evening Prayer Daily and we will let you know when that happens. Online Praise will take place on 2nd and 4th Sundays as well.

In amongst all this we are looking to have a Deanery Confirmation on Saturday 8th May at 4pm at All Saints Whitstable. If anyone is interested in getting Confirmed please let me know by <strong>31st January</strong> so I can look at putting on zoom classes.

We understand these are times of loneliness and the unknown please, please do get in contact with either myself or Rev Stephen if you need to speak to anyone for a chat or to ask for help…we are here for you.

Lent Courses will be upon us soon, if you are interested in taking part by zoom on an Afternoon Lent Course or an Evening Lent Course please let us know also by <strong>31st January</strong> so we can plan and arrange the zoom meetings in advance.

It would be interesting to know what you are missing most about not being able to get together for worship and what new things have you found you have enjoyed. Let us know and we can update on pewsheet each week. Email me on above email address.

Do take care of yourselves and stay safe.

With my love and prayers (And a hug or two!!)

Rev Sue
