Then follow the new Paschal candle into the church for the first celebration of Christ's Resurrection, with lighted candles, joyful singing and the renewal of baptismal vows.

St Alphege, Whitstable (Whitstable Team Ministry)

St Alphege Whitstable is an inclusive and family friendly church. Our worship is traditional yet relaxed.

We offer gathered worship on Sundays at 9.30am and Wednesdays at 10am, and the church is open for private prayer on Fridays and Saturdays between 2 - 4pm.  Our Sunday worship is live-streamed on our Facebook page.

We love helping people of all ages explore their faith or think about baptism, or helping couples prepare for marriage. We can also support families in difficult times, and offer funerals, and on-going social support for bereaved people.

We are pleased to offer Prayers of Love and Faith for same-sex couples.
