St Alphege, Whitstable (Whitstable Team Ministry)

St Alphege Whitstable is an inclusive and family friendly church. Our worship is traditional yet relaxed.

We offer gathered worship on Sundays at 9.30am and Wednesdays at 10am, and the church is open for private prayer on Fridays and Saturdays between 2 - 4pm.  Our Sunday worship is live-streamed on our Facebook page.

We love helping people of all ages explore their faith or think about baptism, or helping couples prepare for marriage. We can also support families in difficult times, and offer funerals, and on-going social support for bereaved people.

We are pleased to offer Prayers of Love and Faith for same-sex couples.

Do see our website or get in touch if you need more specific information.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Whitstable (PCC) is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs). Our Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact one of the PSOs: for children, Isobel Legg 07767 278738 or for adults, Michelle Wasson 07973 819724 or contact the the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor direct: Paul Brightwell 07398 009951. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
