Open Air Walking Service

Occurring
for 2 hours
Venue
St Mary the Blessed Virgin
Address
Church Street Woodnesborough, CT130NW, United Kingdom

On 7th September we will be having an Open-air Walking Service, which has been put together by Ken. Starting and ending at the church we will walk around different parts of the village stopping at 5 different stations in the parish for a reflection, prayer and a verse of a hymn, each devised by a member of our church. People are asked to bring a picnic which we will eat after the service on the green next to the Village Hall. There will be places to park on route if people just want to do part of the walk.

St Mary the Blessed Virgin

Welcome to the page for the Parish Church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin in Woodnesborough.

We are one of the five churches that form the Benefice of Eastry and Woodnesborough. We work very closely with our sister churches across the Benefice in Staple, Northbourne, Tilmanstone and Eastry and would love to welcome you at any of our churches.

Here at St Mary’s, we are a church focused on hospitality and welcome, determined to offer a place where everyone feels welcome and safe. We try our best to practice the inclusive gospel of Christ, accepting everyone from all backgrounds and walks of life. We aim to meet people where they are on their journey and accompany and encourage them as they join our wider church family.
