Shoebox collections of toys for children are an evangelical effort to spread the joy of Jesus to disadvantaged children across the globe. Every year we ask anyone who would like to contribute to drop off toys to church from September to November. This year we filled 20 shoeboxes from the generosity of locals. We especially valued the knitted hats, scarves, mice and elephants, a very personal way to share our concern for others across the world. Comfort and Joy indeed.
