The Stour Downs Parish was created in 2018, serving the communities of Brabourne, Mersham, Monks Horton, Sellindge, Smeeth and Stowting. We have six rural and historic churches offering a variety of services during each month. St Mary's is a Festival Church, which means it used for life event services (weddings, christenings and funerals) and has a worship service on days of key festivals in the Church year. The PCC are working on projects to develop and use the space for the community, such as a space for the arts.
