Daily Scripture

“The Lord will fulfil his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.”  (Psalm 138 v8)

Daily Reflection:

The book of Psalms is a very “human” book. Real people, real feelings, real thoughts, poured out to God. Even if you have never really thought about God, God has spent every moment since you were born thinking about you. The verse above tells us that He has a purpose for each of us – a purpose born of His love for us – and it can only be good. But God is a gentleman, and will never push His way into your life. He waits to be invited – and He will wait for as long as it takes for you to wonder about Him, want to know more about Him, and eventually, for you to decide to trust Him with your life. If life hasn’t been working out as you hoped, perhaps its time to try another way….the Way, the Truth and the Life.
