Daily Scripture:

Know that the Lord is God; it is he that has made us and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and bless his name. (Psalm 100:3-4)

Daily Reflection:

God alone is worthy of being worshipped. If you haven’t been able to find the time to come to church in the past, as we come out of Covid restrictions, perhaps it is a good time for a resolution to do so. As the psalmist said, “Know that the Lord is God; it is he that has made us.” That’s a good enough reason to come and worship him. And if you are in the habit of coming to church regularly, do you do so joyfully; full of praise? Do you come willingly; joyfully? Or is it out of habit; going through the motions? Next time you walk into church, remember the message of this Psalm: God made you; so enter his courts with thanksgiving and praise Him!
