Daily Scripture:

‘But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him” - these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit.’ (1 Corinthians 2:9&10)

Daily Reflection:

Paul (who was ‘The road to Damascus’ Saul) writes these encouraging words to the early church in Corinth, Greece. He is quoting from a prophet Isaiah about 700 years earlier. We cannot even begin to imagine what God has in store for us. But for those who believe, we get - in this life - a tiny glimpse of this promise through the Holy Spirit….. if only we would be open to hearing and seeing; if only we would trust. But even if you have not caught that glimpse yet, know that a wonderful future awaits for those who love God. Let that give you hope to carry on and endure the present hardships. This world is not all there is…..the best is yet to come. “Don’t believe that?” Then ask God to show you…..pray....today.
