St. Martin’s Church is working with the local community to make a Poppy Cascade which will be permanently displayed in Aldington Church as a memorial to those who have given their lives in service to the country, both during the world wars and in other conflicts. 

The plan is that it will be ready for Sunday 2nd November and we will be having a Service of dedication for the Cascade at 4pm on the 2nd November in St. Martin's Church to which we invite the local community, all relevant local organisations such as the British Legion, and representatives from the local council.

If weather permits the Poppy Cascade will be available for the Remembrance Sunday service on the 9th November at the War Memorial.
