Church Opening Times.

Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday at
St John the Baptist Wittersham

The church is generally open from around 9.00 am until 5.00 pm. The Wednesday Walkers use it as a meeting place on Wednesday mornings; the choir meet on Friday evenings and the Bellringers on Tuesday evenings. The book and puzzle library at the back of the church is available to all.

During term time the school holds some 15 minute morning services for the children, usually on Monday mornings.

Choir Practice

Wittersham have an active choir that sings in four part harmony. We enjoy a range of music, particularly Tudor anthems, Mozart, Bruckner, Faure and Bach. We have a wide selection of musical scores and books. If you would like to experience singing in a choir you are welcome to our rehearsals as a guest singer.

Every Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour

This is the traditional service of morning prayer which the Church of England has been using since 1662. The language is traditional and hymns are sung.

A friendly and welcoming group for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups!

Plenty of toys to play with, toilets and changing facilities available, story and song-time, a prepared craft each week and healthy snacks. Plus hot drinks and biscuits for adults. Free to attend. Free parking in the car park at the end of church road.
