On Friday 3rd October, it was announced that Dame Sarah Mullally, currently the Bishop of London, has been named as 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, the first female leader of the Church of England in its history.

Members of our parish congregations and leadership teams met together for the next stage of 'Sowing the Seeds of Hope'.

We await the election of our new Archbishop. As the discernment process is underway, we pray that the Holy Spirit guides those who are charged with discerning who God is calling to this vital ministry.

On Thursday 8th May, the Conclave elected Cardinal Robert Prevost as the new Pope, who took the name Leo XIV.
