Morning prayers

A half-hour time to read some scripture (usually a Psalm) and thank God for the blessings he gives, followed by prayers for the parish, the benefice, the people in our community and the sick.
Not on the first Wednesday of the month, when there is a communion service instead.
Messy Mums

Messy Mums is a group for mums, dads, carers and grandparents with babies and toddlers, held at St Mary's Church, Lenham.
Drop in any Wednesday in term-time from 10.30-12.00 for good coffee or tea and chat and find friendship plus craft, music and interactive storytime.
There are a variety of toys, games, craft table, puzzles and books for children to enjoy as well as a few parenting books available on various subjects of child development. There are hot and cold drinks and biscuits for you to enjoy while meeting other parents and carers in a friendly environment.
During the morning we have an interactive story time with singing and instrument playing before going back for more play time!

Once a month, said holy communion usually from the Book of Common Prayer but occasionally from Common Worship. Usually attended by the Mothers' Union and intercessions are led by the MU group.
