October at Nicholforest Church

October has been a full and joyful month for Nicholforest Church, with our Harvest celebrations and other Christian festivals reminding us of the blessings of community and the beauty of giving thanks.

The church was beautifully decorated for our Harvest Festival on the 19th October filling the church with warm and welcoming Autumn colours.

The PCC would like to express heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for our Harvest Supper at Nicholforest Hall. Together we raised a wonderful £1,150.00 — a truly generous amount that will help us keep our beautiful rural church open and welcoming for all.

It was a wonderful evening filled with good food, laughter, and fellowship, capturing the true spirit of harvest. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who helped in any way — those who baked, made jams and chutneys, donated produce and flowers to decorate the church, and contributed raffle and auction prizes.

Your kindness and support mean so much to our small community church and helps to ensure that it remains a place of worship and gathering for generations to come.

And a special thank you to Norman Storey for his splendid work as our auctioneer — a perfect ending to a wonderful night!
