We meet once a week to pray for the local community, individuals with their permission, regional, national and international concerns. The group is lead by a lay person using a simple structure. The prayers commence at noon with the Memorial of the Incarnation (the Angelus) and lasts 20 minutes. Prayer requests can be left in the basket on the table at the back of church.

We commemorate the institution of Holy Communion by our Lord on the night before his passion. At the end of the service the altar is stripped of all furnishings, the Blessed Sacrament is transferred to the Altar of Repose and a silent vigil commences. Stay for any or all of this special evening.

On this the most solemn day of the church’s year we follow Christ on his last journey to the Cross, walking (if able) or sitting and joining in short prayers interspersed with readings, meditations and hymns. We are encouraged to reflect on the meaning of Christ’s suffering and our response to it, while anticipating the mystery of the resurrection, two days later.

Regular Sunday morning worship lasting approx one hour. Hymns with organ accompaniment and sung liturgy according to the Church season. Printed order of service for ease. Coffee afterwards at the back of church.

A celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus with sung Eucharist. NB incense will be offered during this service.
